Ben Day Earrings
Dating from 1879, Ben Day dots were used extensively as an inexpensive way of adding color to Comic books of the 1950s through the 1970s. Roy Lichenstein understood the visual power of Ben Day dots and they became a hallmark of his style which blended high and low art.
