In 1964 performance artist Dorothy Podber asked Warhol if she could "shoot" a stack of Marilyn canvases that were in The Factory.  Warhol, believing that she meant "photograph", agreed.  She pulled out a revolver and shot the stack of four paintings.  This is a reproduction of one of those paintings.
